On Thursday, May 13th, the East Los Angeles Area Planning Commission approved the "Vista El Sereno" housing development. BIA-LAV provided support by testifying at the meeting to urge approval for this much needed housing.
Vista El Sereno will provide 42 single-family units being built by the
True Life Companies
.
The property proposed for development has been vacant and deteriorating for many years; this housing will be filling a gap on an otherwise vibrant residential block, bringing investment to the community.
