Statistical Report on Consecration Sunday Results

A total of 82 giving units (husbands and wives or single persons) completed Estimate of Giving Cards this year.

A total of 55 of these giving units increased their financial commitment above their last year’s amount.

A total of 101 giving units present to fill out Estimate of Giving Cards today committed a total of $635,314.

Based on last year’s giving records, we can expect to receive $128,186 during the coming year from people who have consistent giving patterns during the past twelve months but are not present today.

Based on the average total of loose offerings during the past three years, we can expect to receive $125,000 during the coming year from that source.

Church income from non-donor sources such as interest, rentals, and fees is expected to be $76,871.

This gives us a grand total of $965,371 anticipated income for the next twelve months.

The total income for our general operating budget during the last twelve months was $960,771.

Next year, we can expect our operating budget income to increase by $4,600.

This is a 4.8 percent increase in total giving above last year.

John Knox is so excited about the wonderful opportunities we have to continue to support our partners at Lake Forest Elementary. Blair Cochran is doing an amazing job providing access to our basement for overflow storage.

However, there are still some “holes” in Lake Forest’s provisions and they need our help. Listed below are some of their needs:

Canned protein including chili types

Breakfast foods with shelf life

Peanut butter/Jelly

Canned vegetables

As you know, Lake Forest sends 25-50 backpacks home each week so children will have food on the weekends. JK has always responded with incredible generosity!

Please place your contributions in the large, white box in the outer narthex. We will continue this drive through October.

Thank you for prioritizing the ministry of Jesus Christ in your financial life.
