The Board has voted to name Stan Morey as Interim EVP upon Glenn Petty's departure, June 30th, 2020.
I would like to personally thank Stan Morey for stepping into this role during these challenging times facing AHA and our breed as whole.
And thank you to Glenn Petty for his dedication to the association and the Arabian Horse.
Enjoy your retirement Glenn - we will see you at a horse show!

What does Virtual Meet An Arabian Horse Month entail?
This month is an opportunity for YOU introduce people to the world of Arabian Horses. Each week during the month of May we will provide a different theme to follow.

Demo general grooming,clipping, bathing, braiding and explain why are these things important
Take this opportunity to share the versatility of the Arabian Horse through posting videos and photos of your farm, a lesson, or even something as simple as grooming!

2020 Canadian Nationals Sweepstakes Designated Classes:
Due to the suspension of the 2020 Canadian National Championship Show, the Arabian Breeders Sweepstakes
designated Classes will be held at the 2020 Mid-Summer National Show in July. The Sweepstakes payout will remain the same as for the Canadian National payout. These classes include:

The 2020 Canadian National Halter Futurity Classes have been moved and will be held at the 2020 US National Championship Show in Tulsa, OK. This classes include:
Arabian Futurity Filly
Arabian Futurity Colt
Arabian Futurity Gelding
HA/AA Futurity Filly
HA/AA Futurity Gelding
These classes will be held as separate Futurity Classes from the US National Halter Futurity Classes and will be adjudicated by a different panel of judges than those that will judge the US National Halter Futurity Classes. All associated fees must be paid in order to participate in these classes.
Note: All Half-Arabian horses competing in the Half-Arabian Halter Futurity Program must have
DNA type of the horse and the horse's Purebred Arabian parent on permanent record with the AHA Registry and the horse has been shown to qualify as an offspring of the stated purebred parent. The DNA parent verification must be
on file at the AHA office in order for the horse to be eligible to compete in the class.

Entries postmarked after September 1, 2020 will be assessed the $750 late fee ($1,000 for reining).

Introducing the Virtual Lexington Carriage Classic!
With the COVID-19 Pandemic forcing us to cancel our 2020 show, the Lexington Carriage Classic committee wants to give back to the driving community that has been so supportive of us in a different way this year. We have developed a Virtual show program available to anyone around the world to enter, and to make things more fun we have added some classes that we don't offer at the actual show!
Enter as many classes as you like, only $5 per class. Ribbons (1st through 6th) will be awarded and mailed out after the judging June 18-20!
Photos from any time period will be welcomed. They need not be taken at a show, nor must the horse/whip still be with us.
The entries and results will be shared on our Facebook Page (Search for Lexington Carriage Classic), on our website, and via email starting June 18th!
It will be great to see and share everyone's old photos from around the world (especially Class 27 for Funny Driving Photos!)

Mid Summer National Championship
The Mid Summer National Championship will include classes such as AATR Select, Choice & Elite in English Pleasure, Country English Pleasure, Western Pleasure and Hunter Pleasure.
Classes will also be offered such as Open and Junior Horse classes in English Pleasure, Country English Pleasure, Western Pleasure and Hunter Pleasure.
Classes will also be offered in the open and adult divisions in the Working Western, Working Hunter, Dressage, Sport Horse Under Saddle, and Sport Horse In Hand.
Youth and Mid Summer National Championships
Qualifications Waived

Entries close June 9th (to be included in program), accepted until June 23 for no penalty (but will not be included in the program)

If the show is cancelled all fees will be refunded except the office fee
Sport Horse Nationals
