Dear friends and colleagues,

- 26 venture firms participating
- 60 first-time attendees
- 50+ entrepreneurs
- 20 sponsors
- 8 countries represented
This year we teamed up with the AgeTech Collaborative from AARP to host the Social Connection Pitch Competition. Entrepreneurs were challenged to create age tech solutions for addressing this important issue and finding ways to create connections for older adults. The winner, Kinsome by Ophelia Labs, founded by Eben Pingree, was the top choice of the judges, as well as the people’s choice.
Even if you were unable to attend the conference, you can still access the virtual conference content on demand until August 31. It’s a great learning experience for the summer! We have sessions that were recorded at the event in addition to virtual sessions that were pre-recorded for this purpose. Click here to register today and use discount code 4JULY for 20% off. If you registered for the event already, you should have received an email with information to access the content.
One of the highlights in the virtual conference content is a research report from Ziegler’s Grant Chamberlain on smart aging solutions that allow seniors to age gracefully and safely. He talks about deconstructing the telehealth industry and shares the driving forces for telehealth and smart aging solutions. You can also learn about the top ten investment trends that I gleaned from our conversations with five investor panels, including mitigating social isolation, chronic disease management, memory and cognitive loss, caregiving, mobility and more.
Finally, I wanted to share a favorite photo that I took recently. I hope you are enjoying your summer.
Warmly,
Mary
