Come be part of shaping the future of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club at this year’s Annual General Meeting. Together, we will reflect on the past year, elect new Board Members, vote on financing options for a potential new machine, and vote on the final proposed by-laws. It is also a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, share your ideas, and get involved in the season ahead. And yes — there will be snacks!
This year, we are introducing a new format for our AGM to keep things focused and make the best use of everyone’s time. All Board Reports, Financial Reports, and Special Resolution information (Financing for Prinoth and Bylaws) have been posted in advance for members to review. The meeting will begin with the approval of the agenda and previous minutes, followed by a review of the season’s financials.
Rather than presenting each board report individually, we will hold an Open Forum where members will have the chance to ask questions and share comments on any of the reports they’ve read ahead of time. Over the years, we have recognized that individual presentations can take a significant amount of time, but we also value meaningful discussion—this new format is designed to achieve both.
Following the Open Forum, we will move into Special Resolutions, the Nominations Committee report, the election of new Board Directors, and then adjournment.
We ask all members to review the posted reports in advance so that our time together can be as efficient, informative, and productive as possible. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to shape the future of our club.

Board of Directors:
Potential Candidates for 2025-26
| | |
We are excited to share that a number of excellent candidates have stepped forward to potentially join your Board of Directors. Each candidate has provided a short bio for your review, giving you a chance to learn more about their backgrounds, experience, and passion for the club.
This is a great opportunity to get to know the individuals who may help guide the future of Caledonia Nordic.
Note: There may be additional candidates including potential candidates nominated from the floor at the AGM.
If you have any questions about the candidates or the nomination process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to nominations@caledonianordic.com.
A big thank you to Sara Cotter for all her work compiling the candidate information and connecting with those interested in contributing to the club in this meaningful way.

Become an SDP Coach This Season!
As the temperatures start to dip, we are getting excited for another fantastic Skills Development Program (SDP) season at Caledonia Nordic. With Olympic Trials on the horizon, we are hoping for an early snowfall and a great start to the season.
Our SDP program depends on the incredible energy and commitment of volunteer coaches—and we’d love for you to join the team! Coaching is fun, rewarding, and essential to helping young skiers develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the sport.
No experience? No problem. We’ll support you every step of the way through:
- Certification courses (all costs covered by the Club)
- Coach development days
- Mentorship from experienced coaches
- A supportive and collaborative team environment
We are also looking at new ways to lighten the load on coaches this season, including athlete support on Wednesday evenings and shared responsibilities to keep things fun and manageable.
If you are interested in joining our SDP coaching team, we would love to hear from you. Whether you’re a seasoned skier, a parent looking to get involved, or simply someone who loves being outside in the winter, you can make a real difference in the lives of our young athletes.
Email our new program coordinator, Belinda Hanlon, programadmin@caledonianordic.com to express your interest or learn more.
