One of the great things about living in the Bend area is the proximity to so many amazing places in Central Oregon. One of those places is Oakridge, a small community on Highway 58 on the way to Eugene. Oakridge has some of the best mountain bike trails in the state and boasts a great community of cyclists that are passionate about their local trails. I had the pleasure to ride with friends from out of state and show off some of the best Oakridge has to offer for mountain bikers!

The Westfir Lodge is at the base of the Alpine Trail and has excellent accommodations and a patio to enjoy a cold beverage at the end of your ride.
