Boo Bash Rescheduled
October 25th | 2pm - 5pm
As you know, due to Hurricane Isaias we had to make the difficult decision to postpone Boo Bash. We are grateful to have been spared from the worst of the storm and are happy to share that Boo Bash has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 25th from 2pm-5pm. If you signed up to participate in trunk-or-treat, or the chili cook-off, check your email for a message from our PTO about updated times for these events. Our Boo Bash T-Shirt out-of-uniform day has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 22nd.
We appreciate all our supporters and are grateful that we didn't experience the worst of the hurricane. Please continue to pray for all those affected by the storm.

Crazy Hair Day
Save the Date: October 21st
On Wednesday, October 21st we will take part in raising money for St. Jude Children's Hospital with our annual Crazy Hair Day. Donate $2 and come to school with your CRAZIEST HAIR! Corpus Christi School has participated in this fundraiser for St. Jude for many years in memory of former CCS student, Andre Colletti, who lost his battle with leukemia in 2012. Mrs. Piccici's son, Jake, was best friends with Andre and she helps to coordinate this fundraiser each year. If you've ever visited our gym, you'll have likely seen the photo of Andre on display along with his #34 jersey in the entryway.
All donations made to St. Jude for Crazy Hair Day are tax deductible. Checks are accepted. Please make check donations payable to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. Andre received treatment for leukemia at St. Jude and we continue to honor his memory by participating in this fundraiser.

Box of Joy Service Project
Items Due: October 21st
As an early Christmas service project, our Archdiocese participates in Cross Catholic Outreach's Box of Joy program. For many poor children around the world, a box of joy filled with small toys, school supplies, healthcare products, a rosary, and the story of Jesus is the only gift they may receive. If you are able to help, see the list of items we are collecting by class. Our Disciples of St. Michael will help to pack items in boxes for delivery to Cross Catholic Outreach. Help us reach our goal of packing 350 boxes for 2026!

Bible Verse + Prayer for October
Each month our students learn a Bible verse. We also choose a prayer to focus on each month. We would love for you to practice the Bible verse and prayer with your children at home.
Hebrews 13:8
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O, sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

Stewardship Appeal
The Fruits of Stewardship
Matthew 7:20 says, "So by their fruits you will know them." Are you living your life in a fruitful way? Are you honoring the Lord with your first fruits as Proverbs advises us to do? Each October, Fr. Pat asks us to reflect on our Stewardship of Corpus Christi Parish. This year he challenges us to consider the fruitfulness of sharing our time, talent and treasure with Corpus Christi Parish.
