Congratulations to these newest CMPs!
I have crossed paths during their preparation through a mixture of my 16-hour virtual classes, my two-day in-person classes, the MPI Global Master Class, my videos, and some random conversations. I am very proud and happy for all of you, and it means a lot to have been part of your journey.

What are you finding in venue negotiations for 2021?
Waiving attrition? F&B minimum? Waiving cancellation for group contracts? None of the above? Other?
And are these negotiations Hotel Brand wide, or based on a planners relationship?

Believe it or not, people have received money and gift cards as their gift, so they can take a CMP class, work with me as a Guiding Client or even have a Think Out Loud session for their business. As someone said to me “I didn’t need more perfume or clothes---I needed something that would move me forward!”

I love selling Joanne’s CMP class and her services, but I hate selling myself. So here’s quick interesting facts about me and my work.
One, I admire Disney brand. I can spend hours talking about Disney movies and characters. I used to work as an intern at Disney World in Orlando, FL. I can confidently say that working for Disney was the turning-point of my life. The experience changed not only my attitude/personality but also my life as a whole. It, in fact, motivated me to pursue a Master’s in the United States and I earned my master’s at Boston University earlier this year May. If you also are a Disney nerd, email/message me! P.S. I watched Moana at movie theater four times.
Two, I work for social media marketing for Joanne, but I rarely do social media for myself. I uploaded the first photo this year in October.
Three, I love analyzing data and doing research. I enjoy playing with data usually on Rstudio, and recently I began to learn Python. I think knowing how to read numbers and data is truly a powerful skill these days and I’m going to keep pushing myself to be better at data analysis.
Four, I also work at a hotel asset management company. Mainly I analyze the hotel performance or assist in writing the feasibility study or investment memo.
Five, I’m born to be a dog lover. But I learned the charm of the cat last year because of my roommate’s kitten. So my dream is to live with one dog and one cat in the future.
Six, I love extreme sports, but I have never done it.
Seven, I love insects – even spiders. But I hate the butterfly.
Eight, I would work for Joanne for free. It’s my joy and passion to help someone I really care about. Plus I indeed enjoy doing digital marketing.

NOTE: TIMES AND DATES ARE DIFFERENT
Also, the class is at a new time and dates to make it more accessible to people who have not been able to attend, including those in Asia (so you don’t have to get up at 3:30 am). Thursday and Friday, January 21-22 will be on 5:30-9:30 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, January 23-24 will be on 10 AM-2 PM EST.

Why should you go visit a chapter you don't belong to
One of the beautiful things about virtual is it allows us to go to presentations and events we may never have been able to, and meet people we might never have gotten to know.
To the right are two upcoming events from my Marketing Partners that you will want to take a look at ---and find the right one (or more) to attend?
A lot of diverse topics on virtual and hybrid---but other topics too! For two of them it is their Education Day/Conference with many, many topics.
In this world it is a necessity to meet others in a different location, with different experiences.
