Greetings!

What amazes me most about Equine Assisted Learning is the way the horses show participants what is in the person’s way and offer an opportunity to shift to a more empowered presence. When I first experienced this work, I didn’t really understand what it took to invite the horse to join me in a walk, a jog, or in silence. But it grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. I have since come to understand how this all works, why horses are perfect partners to teach us presence, leadership, and the importance of collaboration. More than anything, it has given me the gift of a deep and trusted relationship with my horses that I never even imagined possible when I rode my favorite horse named Knight through the forest when I was so young.
