Meet our November
Volunteer of the Month
Paul Sparrow
| | |
I did my first Fireside Chat on March 12, 2023, so I guess that was my first volunteer effort.
Doing public programs has allowed me to see the important role the library plays in the community. With the hundreds of programs offered every year to a wide range of people is a remarkable achievement for a library in a community this size.
Hosting the SummerScape program "The Genius of Rogers and Hammerstein" with Tina Marie Casamento, with a huge crowd of people on a very hot evening, and everyone having such a great time in the new pavilion. I felt like a part of the history being made with that new space.

As a result, his plays abound with moments of performance, moments in which characters, either by choice or out of necessity, perform something other than what they are. In this program Professors Anne Colwell and James Keegan will explore two such scenes.
