The 12th Annual Senior Summit

The Senior Summit was a great success with over 900 attendees including individual agents, partners,

sponsors and exhibitors. So many shared that they believed this was one of the best! Located in the

Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California, it was the event to get away for some fun, learning

and play!

We started out on Monday with golfing organized and managed by Juan Lopez with an assist from Ron

Chock. A total of 55 golfers enjoyed the challenging Journey Golf Course at Pechanga. While the golfers

were out on the beautiful course, the rest of the committee were busy with our volunteers getting set

up by preparing the badges sponsored by Green Leaf Medicare FMO, Registration bags sponsored by

Anthem Blue Cross and the registration area. Dawn Carroll, Gail James Clarke and George Carson led

the set up in all areas including sound, the stage and the Exhibit Hall. Regal Health Plan provided the

Social Media sponsorship and California Broker was our Advertising sponsor.

Our Political Action Committee supports California initiatives and candidates who are aligned with the industry's interests and who can advocate for favorable policies, regulations, and legislation. These candidates understand and support our industry and can help protect it from potential adverse regulations or legislation that could harm your business or profession.

Contributing to CAHIP's PAC allows us to pool together our resources to support our industry and work with California legislators to make positive change.

SAHU's 2023 Business and Medicare Expo was a Resounding Success!

The Sacramento Association of Health Underwriters (SAHU) proudly looks back on its 2023 Business & Medicare Expo as an unprecedented success. The AI Technology themed event garnered a remarkable turnout of over 300 registrants, reflecting the growing interest and commitment of professionals in the insurance industry. A highlight of the event was the Medicare Breakout session, which was met with an overflowing audience, emphasizing its significance in today’s healthcare landscape. In line with SAHU’s dedication to professional development, the Expo offered 5 CE courses that provided valuable insights and knowledge enhancement for attendees. 

SAHU also proudly announced the exceptional individuals who will be joining the SAHU Board for the 2023-2024 term. This esteemed group of professionals brings their expertise and dedication to further enhance our organization’s mission, ensuring a bright future for SAHU.
