This Week at the VIC

Sky Spotters

Earlier this week, the National Weather Service out of Burlington, VT held a public training for their SKYWARN program here at the VIC! What a great resource to be aware of with the unpredictable weather events the Adirondacks can bring.

Thank you for bringing your training to the VIC!

Eclipse Campout

Make a memorable weekend of it and get the full eclipse adventure right here! On April 8th, we are lucky enough to fall in the path of totality of the solar eclipse. Paul Smith’s VIC has one of the best viewing locations in the Adirondacks with an exclusive tent spot perfect to host your own viewing party. Lean-to rentals are also available. Enjoy this rare, astronomical event in the peace and quiet of our 25+ miles of trails filled with beautiful, natural surroundings and a sense of tranquility.
