From Your Administrative Team

Greetings Families,
First, we want to extend our biggest "Thank You!" to the parent and staff volunteers, tech and facilities team, and most importantly, our student emcees, performers and artists for sharing their gifts with us at the Talent Showcase! It's one of our most beloved annual FAN events, and we are so glad we were able to bring it back in-person this year!
State testing is wrapping up! Kaitlin e-mailed all families who have testing to complete. Thank you for your participation and flexibility as we work towards meeting this state requirement!
Please take a few minutes of your time to complete our Parent Survey HERE. We read all survey entries thoughtfully and consider ideas in our decision making! We would also like to ask that your feedback is kind, specific, and helpful. Thank You!
Take Good Care,
Kaitlin and Tami

Presentations of Learning
5/23-6/7
We are so excited for Presentations of Learning (POLs) to begin next week! This is one of Da Vinci's most meaningful signature practices, where students are given the opportunity to reflect on their learning and celebrate their growth in meaningful ways in front of an authentic audience of panel members! We hope you enjoy the POL experience as much as we do! For more information about your child's POL, please reach out to your classroom teacher.

Beats by DVS Museum
5/26-5/27 at Da Vinci Science
For 3rd-6th grade students
We have a special and unique opportunity to share! The 9th grade physics class at Da Vinci Science is wrapping up their “Beats By DVS” project, where students have created functional headphone prototypes that they’d like to share with us! Their teacher, Jaime Taube, has invited our 3rd-6th grade students to attend their museum exhibit to learn more about the project and see what the students have created! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience what PBL can look like at DVS, and for our students to act as an authentic audience for the 9th grade class!
**This mostly applies to M/T families and remote families given the dates and times that the museum is available. Thank you for understanding!

SESSION 1: 8:45-9:45am
SESSION 2: 10:30-11:30am
