Currently the project team is seeking opinions through a series of Monthly Mobility Questions. Click on the link if you would like to view the PROJECT WEBSITE and/or weigh-in on each month's question.

Town of Avon
Updating of Zoning Regulations
The Town of Avon is presently working with SLR Consulting to update its current Zoning Regulations. According to the minutes from the April 11, 2023 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission -- "Outdated concepts will be eliminated while considering new planning trends. The final product will be permissive and user-friendly to Town Staff and officials as well as the general public."
The Town is currently conducting a baseline review and assessment of the existing Zoning Code as well as the POCD and an outline will be prepared to show how the Code could be updated to be more user-friendly.
Community engagement is anticipated to occur throughout the process; with two open house sessions being planned for the general public (dates TBD). A Story Map project website is also being proposed to be posted on the Town's website following review and finalization.
The entire project is projected to take about 12 months to complete.
