Volunteers Needed to Support Indian Hill Recreation Commission Programs

It takes a Village to build a thriving youth sports community—and volunteers are at the heart of it! The Village of Indian Hill Recreation Commission youth sports programs are made possible through the dedication of volunteer Chairs, committee members, coaches, league representatives, and the Recreation Commission. While the Village Recreation Program Manager oversees the department, the success and continued operation of each of our nine sports programs depends on the involvement of parents and community members.

Current volunteer opportunities include:

  • Sports Chairs: Track & Field (open/unfilled), Lacrosse (open/unfilled), and Basketball (anticipated vacancy)
  • Sports Committee Members: Soccer, Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Girls & Boys Volleyball, Basketball, Track & Field, and Field Hockey
  • CHSS League Representative: Represent Indian Hill on the Cincinnati Hills SAY Soccer league board
  • Recreation Commission Members: Help guide the future of recreation in our community

There are many ways to contribute, with flexible opportunities throughout the year. Some volunteer roles require as little as four hours per season, while others offer the opportunity to take on a leadership role and help shape the future of a program.

It takes a Village to sustain thriving youth recreation in Indian Hill. Volunteer support is essential to keeping our programs available to local youth. Without sufficient volunteer leadership, the Recreation Commission may be faced with discontinuing a sport—something we sincerely hope to avoid.

Whether you have children participating in our programs or simply want to give back to your community, we invite you to get involved. Join IH Rec as a sports volunteer and help create unforgettable experiences while shaping the future of recreational sports.

Come be part of your Village—we’d love to have you on the team!
