Larry Walker, Jr. grew up in a Habitat home in Hudson, NY where he resides with his family. Larry Jr. worked very hard in high school securing scholarships and paid for his own college education at Columbia-Greene Community College from where he will graduate this month with an associate’s degree in criminal justice. Before he goes job-hunting, Larry Jr. plans to travel to Zambia on a mission trip to work on building churches and digging water wells for the country’s residents. Currently, he has two part-time jobs and is paying for this mission trip out of his own pocket. To date, Larry Jr. has raised approximately half the money he needs. A GoFundMe page has been established (HERE) to help Larry Jr. reach his financial goals in order to make his mission a reality.
