Inglenook is considered to be one of the very best Napa wine producers and has an amazing history that needs to be explored in depth to understand the significance of this top estate.

While Harlan, Colgin, Screaming Eagle, Scarecrow, Chappellet, Dominus and other top Cabernet producers have dominated the limelight in recent years, Inglenook's wines stand over the course of history as the ultimate expression of NAPA.

Now the estate is back on track to reclaim the podium of the greatest wines producer in the entire US, including California and NAPA.

Francis Ford Coppola has been instrumental in bringing this historic estate back to its original vision. Purchasing and putting all the pieces of the original estate back in place.

Blancaneaux

The Inglenook Blancaneaux, a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier, opens with beautiful floral aromas elegantly balanced with a touch of lemon. On the palate, the roundness from the Viognier provides a smooth and supple texture, while the finish is lengthy and graceful. Subtle aromas of coriander add a layer of complexity, making this wine both aromatic and well-balanced.

Sauvignon Blanc

This wine offers a vibrant medley of aromas, prominently featuring the zesty essence of lime, the delicate fragrance of lemon blossom, and the distinctive notes of gooseberry. The lively acidity on the palate enhances the overall tasting experience, providing a crisp and refreshing sensation that lingers seamlessly into a prolonged finish. The combination of citrusy aromas and well-balanced acidity makes for a dynamic and invigorating wine that leaves a lasting impression.

1882 Cabernet Sauvignon

Niebaum’s status as one of the leading pioneers of Napa Valley’s wine industry inspired us to create our 1882 Cabernet Sauvignon. The bottle’s label bears an image of the stone threshold to that humble test cellar, a symbol of our resolve to have the name of Niebaum-Pennino embody the defining qualities of our two namesakes––foresight, creativity, and devotion.

Cabernet Sauvignon

The Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon bursts with aromas of black currant and forest berries, beautifully complemented by hints of vanilla extract and baking spices. On the palate, vibrant red fruit notes shine through, accompanied by soft notes of cedar wood. The wine features bright acidity that enhances its freshness, leading to a long finish where the balanced tannins and acidity harmonize perfectly.

Pennino Zinfandel

This wine presents a delightful interplay of flavors, with prominent notes of strawberry seamlessly balanced alongside the richness of dark fruits like plum, blackberry, and fig. Infused with a subtle spiciness, hints of black pepper and cardamom pods add depth and complexity to the palate. The mid-palate is artfully balanced, with notes of balsamic and oak lactone contributing to a well-rounded and nuanced experience. The acidity, which imparts great tension, carries through the palate and culminates in a remarkably long and satisfying finish.

Rubicon

This wine showcases a tapestry of darker red fruits, with prominent notes of pomegranate and cherry, creating a rich and inviting profile. Its exceptional structure and impressive length contribute to a robust and satisfying tasting experience. The velvety tannins are seamlessly integrated, enhancing the overall smoothness of the wine. The influence of oak adds to the complexity, offering a seamless vanilla character that gracefully complements the fruit elements. Notably, in the tradition of Rubicon wines, this blend is known for its historical complexity, where no single variable stands out, but rather, the sum of its parts creates a truly captivating and multifaceted expression.
