Happy Easter!

We are excited to share the wonderful news that we have hired two new staff members to lead the music ministries at St. Michael's. The listening sessions conducted earlier this year amplified the need for a two person, part-time model for our music ministries. Linda Page, Kristy Callihan, and I conducted multiple interviews, and after a time of prayer and discernment, we are thrilled to announce the following:
Amalia Dobbins is our new Director of Music. Amalia will be leading our choirs, collaborating with our musicians, overseeing the organist, and collaborating with myself and other staff members for worship services and innovative music offerings. Prior to coming to St. Michael's, Amalia has been part of church choirs for over 20 years in California and Colorado, she has a passion for numerous genres of music, and she runs her own voice teaching studio working with children, teens, and young adults. Join me in welcoming Amalia! amalia@stmikeschurch.com
Teresa Allen is our new Organist. In addition to playing the organ for services, Teresa will accompany our choirs and support the music ministries at St. Michael's. Prior to coming to St. Michael's, Teresa worked at Ascension Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, several churches in Pennsylvania, and has a passion for creating beautiful music to glorify God. Amalia and Teresa will be transitioning into their new roles with the help of Linda Page through the end of April. Join me in thanking Linda Page for all the time, energy, and passion she has poured into our music program over the past 12 years, especially over the past year during the pandemic. I'm extremely grateful for her leadership and look forward to her continued participation in our music program.

Please be on the look out for future opportunities to get involved in the music ministries at St. Michael's. Join me in welcoming Amalia and Teresa!

Faithfully & Joyfully,
