May is Mental Health Awareness Month

The observance of Mental Health Awareness Month encourages us to come together to promote mental health and support each other in our journey towards mental wellness. Mental health is a crucial aspect of our overall well-being, and this month serves as a reminder to take care of our mental health as we do our physical health. It is a time to learn and educate others, provide resources, and support those who may need it. NHP Staff Highlight: Meet Our Chief of Clinical Operations

LinkedIn

Jen Hale-Coulson, Chief of Clinical Operations

Jen is a Colorado native with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, administration, and healthcare policy, bringing a wealth of expertise to her role as Chief of Clinical Operations at Northeast Health Partners. Her early clinical experiences in remote Colorado communities deepened her understanding of the unique challenges faced by members and providers in these regions. Outside of her professional endeavors, Jen enjoys spending time with her family and remaining active. As someone who always enjoyed running, these days she prefers long walks, paddle boarding and playing pickleball. She has been married for nearly 20 years and has two thriving children.

Fun Fact: Jen has the uncanny ability of knowing every word to every song, even when she doesn’t. If you ever have the pleasure of listening to her belt out a favorite song, you are likely to hear her creative interpretations, rather than the original lyrics.
