QUICK HITS

CURRICULUM

Our Sunday morning and Wednesday night studies for the fall are going well! You can find more information about each study with the buttons below. If you have questions or would like more resources, please feel free to get in touch!

ACTIVITY SCHEDULES

With school up and running now, we know that everybody's extracurricular activities are beginning as well. If your student is participating in anything this fall or winter--sports, music programs, theater, debate, or anything else--we'd love to have a copy of their schedules to check in about how things are going and hopefully attend some events! If you'd like to share your student's activity schedule with us, you can do so by emailing me.

JESSIE'S PLACE AND BOB ROSS PICTURES

Though time ran a bit short, there were a lot of wonderful works of art leaving the building after our most recent event--and also some food that went to serve one of our local partners! Use the button below to check out the full photo album from our Jessie's Place and Bob Ross night.

IMPORTANT:

Parent Survey on Social Media and Technology Use

The benefits and dangers of new technologies shape one of the most pressing issues in the lives of today's teens. To better serve the students and families of RBC, the student ministry team has put together a survey for parents about technology and social media use among our students. As you're able, please take a moment to fill it out, as it will greatly inform our approach to addressing related questions with students and help us know how we can serve you well as parents.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Our next RBC Students event will take place on Sunday, October 25th at 5pm. We'll gather at Patriot Park in West Homewood to play some games--Spikeball, Can-Jam, tossing the football around, and more--before picking up some ice cream at the parlor across the street and walking down to Hutton's house for a backyard campfire! This is a great opportunity for students to relax, enjoy the fall weather, and grow in their relationships with one another. The event is free of charge, but please sign up with the button below by October 18th so that we can plan accordingly!

The whole family is invited to join us the morning of Sunday, November 1st at 8:15am for free pancakes! We'll enjoy a time of fellowship, food, Bible Skills activities, and Scripture Memory activities. Wear your flannel or pajamas to church for the whole morning! Breakfast is available for the whole family. Use the button below to register by October 25th!

It's time to start thinking about MFuge 2027! Next year's camp will run from Monday, June 28th to Friday, July 2nd. We'll be hosting an interest meeting for next year's camp in the church fellowship hall on Sunday, November 8th at 1pm. Please plan to attend even if you're not certain whether your student will join us! We'll cover deadlines, payment information, group policies, travel plans, and more. You'll also go home with an information packet as you consider the possibilities! There's no registration for this meeting. But, as always, please feel free to reach out with any questions.
