🚶🏼‍♀️🎨 COMMUNITY EVENT “Memorial Park Wellness Walk” 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM with Urban Paths at Cullen Running Trails Center (7575 N Picnic Ln., Houston 77007). Join coach Laura Conely for her free weekly 3-mile group walk.

🎨 ART EVENT “Woodshop Group Show” 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Techne Gallery at TXRX Labs (6501 Navigation Blvd., Houston 77011). Thirty-minute artist talks followed by facility tours at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

🎨 ART EVENT "Coffee & Cars" 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at POST Houston (401 Franklin St., Houston 77201). A special edition of this monthly gathering features new machines and special icons!

🎨 OPENING RECEPTION “Secondary Market Summer Exhibition” 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heidi Vaughan Fine Art (3510 Lake St., Houston 77098). On view thru August 17, 2024 are works for sale by some of the biggest and greatest art collectors in Houston, including Leigh and Reggie Smith, Stephen Goldberg, Sam Gorman, David Brown, Lester Marks, Jereann Chaney, Bryn Larsen, and others. Proceeds benefit the Houston Arts Foundation.

🎨 OPENING RECEPTION “Myke Venable: Twilight” 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gallery Sonja Roesch (2309 Caroline St., Houston 77004). On view thru August 31, 2024 is the latest body of work by this Houston artist, which originated from a series of pen and ink concept drawings.

Curators on hand to talk about art. Entry is FREE for museum members; $40 for non-members (includes one complimentary drink).
