Dear Residents -
We have another busy weekend here in Orangetown, starting with the Pearl River Carnival. It is open tonight and will run through Sunday at the Central Avenue Field in Pearl River. This event, hosted by the Pearl River Park and Activity Committee, helps support the Annual Fourth of July Celebration. There will be games, rides, food and lots of fun. Tomorrow, is the Nyack 15th Annual African-American Parade. It begins at 12 pm, with a festival following immediately after. There will be food, vendors, music, face painting and more. For details on these events and others, see the brochures below.
Please note that, as the Pearl River Carnival is on the Central Avenue Field, the Pearl River Farmers Market scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. It will be back next Saturday with a great lineup of vendors but, if you can’t wait, head over to the Piermont Farmers Market on Sunday, from 10 am to 3 pm, at the Flywheel Park in Piermont. Better yet, you can also check out the great restaurants, stores and outdoor spaces that Piermont has to offer.
Early voting for the primary elections starts tomorrow at Town Hall. Please note, however, that there is only one primary election race in Orangetown, specifically in the Village of Piermont. Remember, for early voting you can vote in any of the voting locations in Rockland County. The locations and times of voting can be found in the flyer below.
On Monday, June 16, 2025 at 5:00 pm, registration will open for Orangetown Parks and Recreation Summer 2025 programs. To see what is available this summer, click here.
Enjoy your weekend and Happy Father’s Day to all the dads.
Regards,
