As Fat Tuesday heralded that the Lenten season would begin today on Ash Wednesday and for all who celebrate, I hope it is reflective and rewarding. As always, I wish everyone well.

While not biblically significant, our Youth, Human Services & Education (YHSE) committee will meet tonight at the Pacific Street Library. The focus of tonight's meeting will be to hear about some capital improvements for the Carroll Gardens Library and the Noel Pointer Foundation's plans for their headquarters on Degraw Street.

There are, of course, items of interest and other happenings to be found below, so I'd say keep reading. For example, you'll learn that next Thursday, our Transportation & Public Safety Committee will meet at the 78th precinct to hear about DOT's proposal for Neighborhood Loading Zones .

Have a good night, and feel free to share this information however you'd like.
