Vector provides de-coupled control of “bubble lock” and air flow allowing easier set-up and optimization for a wider operating window for all types of films and BUR’s . Operators can now maximize process output without affecting bubble stability.
 
Unlike typical air rings that can have critical settings changed without any record, all Vector settings are stored in memory for repeat orders. Pressure, Air Flow and Temperature are continuously monitored and alarmed to ensure process repeatability.
Smart, Digital & Saved
The patented design and control of the Vector AR lip sets it apart from traditional dual A/R lips. All essential setup parameters are displayed and (in most cases) adjusted on the ITALYCS HMI screen. The secondary collar and Vector Ring are positioned repeatably with servo drives. The lower orifice can be adjusted while the line is running, without disturbing the bubble, and its position is displayed on the HMI screen. (the adjustment is made by turning the knob under the A/R – positioned in an accessible spot)

The air flow rate, pressure, and air temperature in the inlet duct is continuously measured and displayed. All these parameters can be saved in a recipe for the film, and recalled later for exact repeatabilty. ITALYCS’ trending function can be used to review the history – see more in the Trending page.
