Who doesn't love new friends? | |
February is New Member Month on WBJC!
WBJC is appealing to those who have never joined WBJC's membership ranks to do so in the month of February. We have a goal of 200 NEW members before the end of the month, and we are feeling pretty confident that there are 200 listeners who will step up.
You'll hear a lot of messaging on-air geared towards those listeners... such as: all new members will be invited to a movie screening and sent a logo baseball hat.
But know that you, our current members, are not forgotten! If you know someone who loves classical music as much as you and isn't already a member, tell them about this campaign, or give them a gift membership! When they join up and tell us you referred them, you will also receive an invite to the private movie screening with Jonathan Palevsky and a baseball hat!
Share the music you Love!

Some things of note:
-
The delayed Thank You Gifts have started shipping out! The Bodum Bistro Set has needed a bit of extra work, so it is still delayed as of this email. If you chose another gift along with the Bodum, the warehouse is holding it until they can combine shipping. If you would prefer the other gifts come separately, let us know and we will tell them to ship right away. We apologize and truly appreciate your patience during the extreme delay.
-
2024 Tax statements were mailed out at the end of January! Donors who've given over $250 and Sustainers should receive a cumulative statement by mail. Everyone else should have an acknowledgement letter from the time they made their gift. If you don't have your letter, or if you need an electronic statement, please see the MyWBJC instructions at the bottom of this email to self-generate what you need!

QCD and Donor Advised Fund giving
Did you know you can donate to WBJC with your IRA or DAF? Ask your financial adviser which type of giving is right for you!
Whichever way you choose to give, please be sure they specifically designate "WBJC" when using our EIN.
WBJC’s Federal Tax ID number is 52-6002033. Baltimore City Community College, a State of Maryland college, holds the license for WBJC… and as such, WBJC is fully tax-exempt. We are listed under that same EIN/Tax ID# as all State of Maryland agencies. If you are sending WBJC a donation through a Foundation, Donor Advised Fund, or Employer Match Program, please use this EIN and specifically designate “WBJC” as the recipient.

By Gavin Witt
From February 27th through March 16th, Classic Theatre of Maryland in Annapolis dives into the fraught, morally murky world of Salem, Massachusetts circa 1692 by way of Arthur Miller’s celebrated 1953 allegorical drama, The Crucible.
The production is helmed by Sally Boyett, CTM Producing Artistic Director, in her first time directing one of her favorite plays; one she describes as not only a modern classic, but also an edge-of-your-seat thriller. A play that poses difficult questions and impossible dilemmas for its cast of culpable, compromised characters, but which also challenges the conscience of an audience both individually and collectively...
