| | The 10th graders from Winston headed to the Museum of Us in Balboa Park on Thursday. This immersive experience allowed students to explore diverse exhibits celebrating human history, culture, and identity. Highlights included the Cannibals: Myth & Reality exhibit, which challenges preconceptions and encourages critical thinking, and PostSecret, a collection of anonymous confessions that sparked meaningful discussions about mental health and human connection. The trip not only complemented their curriculum but also inspired a deeper appreciation for the complexities of human experiences, aligning perfectly with Winston's mission to provide a transformative learning journey. | |
