5 Simple Ways You Can Help Make Back-To-School Season Our Best Yet

Gearing up for the back-to-school shopping season starts now! We are expecting to provide 21-piece wardrobes for about 8,000 shoppers between now and the end of this year. Please donate your clean and ready-to-wear clothing and shoes Tuesdays - Saturdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, or by appointment. Be sure to check our updated Clothing & Shoe Donation page for a list of the items we accept and our greatest needs.

Our new Friends of Clothes To Kids of Denver group cordially invites you to their Summer Courtyard Cocktails gathering on Wednesday, July 23 at the Clothes To Kids shop. Live music, food and drinks provided. Guests are encouraged to bring a back-to-school outfit or a pair of shoes for our shoppers. Please RSVP to Valerie Lunka by July 20.

Do you have something special to celebrate this month? You’re in luck! For the entire month of July you can support our mission simply by dining in at The Melting Pot in Littleton. Order off the charity menu (a separate menu that includes all of their delicious offerings), and 10% of your order will be donated back to Clothes To Kids.

This one is easy, and free! We receive a portion of your King Soopers purchases when you link your SooperCard account to Clothes To Kids. Click here to reach the Community Rewards search screen (create an online King Soopers account first, if needed) and enter our account number GV047 or name Clothes To Kids of Denver. Click the blue "Enroll" button. You're ready to shop!

The next time you are shopping on Amazon, consider sending our shoppers some love using our Amazon Wish List. The items on this list are always in demand and are a great way to support our mission. Even better, your purchases ship directly to our shop!

Stand Out Service

Our generous friend Jane has donated multiple shopping trips worth of new clothes for our shoppers and found some great bargains on out-of-season fall and winter items. What a great way to put your bargain hunting skills to good use!

John, a teacher at Campus Middle School, held a performing arts fundraiser and used the proceeds to purchase new socks for our shoppers. We appreciate the donations, and also the creativity that fueled this gift!

This group from KeyBank did an amazing job organizing and sorting during the group's first-ever volunteer shift. They accomplished so much and made it a lot easier for us to locate items in our back stock. We look forward to having them back again very soon.

Kudos to Tyg and the fantastic team from Wholly Kicks for bringing a huge delivery of brand new shoes for our shoppers to choose from. This was their third event at our shop and everyone was thrilled by the amazing selection.

We were thrilled to welcome Denver Broncos defensive lineman Jordan Jackson and Denver Broncos Cheerleaders Naomi and Alison A. to volunteer in our shop. Their crew jumped right in to help assist families with checkout and restock the racks. They were all so kind and helpful, plus they graciously took lots of pictures with our students, families and staff.

Clothes To Kids was honored to be the featured charity at the 15th Annual A&I Wealth Management Fairways and Greenbacks Golf Tournament at Arrowhead Golf Club. The tournament raised nearly $10,000 (including A&I's matching gift) and introduced us to a terrific new audience. Many thanks to Stacey and Karl Frank, their incredible team and their generous clients!

A very kind donor named Al came to drop off some clothing donations along with a couple REI gift cards. The cards helped us score a great price on some excellent t-shirts for boys - always a huge need for us. Thank you for your kindness, Al!

This wonderful group of volunteers from fellow nonprofit SungateKids made a big dent in our storage space to-do list. They carefully sorted and stored a huge collection of winter coats and off-season clothing that we are putting away until fall. The perfect way to serve when the temperature outside is in the 90’s.

Meet Stanley, founder of the Beyond the Court Foundation. He held a very successful year-long clothing drive at Regis University (where he coaches basketball) and brought the donations for our student shoppers. Thank you Stanley for the many ways you uplift families and nurture youth in our community.

For her birthday, Jill got just what she wished for...an undies packing party in conjunction with Undies for Everyone. Jill and her friend delivered an incredible 2,520 pairs to our shop. That’s enough for us to supply new underwear for more than 500 of our student shoppers! Thank you for thinking of us on your special day.

These wonderful ladies from the Junior League Fun Group purchased several boxes of brand new clothing for our shoppers. Our students absolutely love having such a nice selection of new items to choose from.
