Our 2023 in Review

2023 was a great year for Carson’s Village! Through the amazing support of our Village and the hard work of our Advocate team, we were able to serve over 5,000 families! Check out some of the ways we grew in 2023:

Hear from one of our Families

The Continuing Support program has been a beacon of hope for Carson's Village families. With feedback like, "You are awesome, you've lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders. I am so glad you got in touch with me."

Beyond addressing immediate issues, the program is committed to understanding the family's multifaceted needs and cultivating long-term solutions and results. Instead of “moving on,” we look to see how we can assist our families in “moving forward” with their grief.

Welcome Spring 2024 Interns!

We’re happy to welcome our second cohort of interns pursuing their Masters of Social Work to the Carson’s Village Team. Through working alongside our Advocates, interns develop casework and research skills as well as acquire the work experience necessary for their degree. We’re so happy to have you!

Peer to Peer Program Volunteers Needed

Our next Villager training session for the Peer-to-Peer program is starting at the end of February, and we're looking for volunteers.

Through the P2P program our volunteers, Villagers, act as peer supporters to those who are actively grieving the loss of a loved one.

2024 Group Support is underway!

We are in the 3rd year of our Free Group Support Program and our 2024 sessions are already underway!

Our meetings teach strategies to develop healthy coping skills to help you adjust to a life without your loved one.

We meet virtually two times a month: the second Tuesday of every month and the last Wednesday of every month.
