Hey Friends

The Thanksgiving season is here, even though most stores are already setting up for Christmas. Thanksgiving items and dishes line the shelves. We all look forward to the wonderful season that is Christmas, but I don’t want the festivities of Thanksgiving to be overlooked. There is so much that Thanksgiving has to offer. As a kid, I loved waking up to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and we would eat the Thanksgiving breakfast casserole as we waited for the arrival of Santa to end the parade. In the excitement of Christmas, don’t miss the gift of Thanksgiving. It’s a time to reflect, give thanks, and spend meaningful moments with loved ones. Let’s embrace the spirit of gratitude before diving into the holiday rush, and cherish the moments that make Thanksgiving truly special.

Reminder: There is no Sunday Formation or Sunday night youth activities. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Break!

Covent Thanksgiving Dinner 11/26

We are excited to invite your organization to join us for Covenant Community, Inc.’s 29th Annual Men of Hope Thanksgiving Dinner, a cherished event that has been serving over 400 meals annually to Atlanta’s unhoused community for nearly 30 years. This year’s dinner will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Ellis Hall. This event is more than just a meal—it is an opportunity to connect individuals in need with essential services. It is also a great way to earn service hours if you are looking for some. The day will feature a dignified, table-served Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

St Nickolas Night Wednesday December 4th 6PM

Join us for a special night at All Saints' as we celebrate St. Nicholas! St. Nicholas Night is a beloved tradition that brings joy to the children of All Saints, and we’d love for you to be part of it. As older kids, you have a unique opportunity to help create a fun and festive atmosphere for the younger ones, and it’s a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit.

You can make the evening even more special by helping Kathy Roberts and me with various tasks, such as putting candy in the kids' shoes, spending time with the children, and contributing to the overall celebration.

If you're interested in helping out, please reach out to me!

There is so much that goes into Sunday's in The Attic and one of the best ways that parents can help is by providing our meal during SNL. Please take a look at the available dates and sign-up for a time that works best for you! Thank you so much for your dedication to our youth program, we couldn't do it without awesome parents like you!
