Louisiana families deserve safe drinking water. That's what Amendment 7 is about.

Right now, our state faces a critical challenge. Thousands of homes need water line replacement to protect their families. As I explain in this video: "Right now thousands of Louisiana homes are facing aging water systems. This challenge is especially important for our children."

What makes this issue powerful is that it brings people together. Mike Bayham, a Republican, and I came together on this because we agree on what matters most. As we both emphasize: "Safe water isn't a Democrat thing or a Republican thing. It's a Louisiana thing."

The solution is clear. It requires the whole line to be replaced, and Amendment 7 makes this possible by providing federal funding without burdening private property owners.

This election, vote yes on Amendment 7. Our families are counting on it.
