It's Action Camp Application Season!

Get ready for an unforgettable week of empowerment, connection, and pure joy! Action Camp is a dynamic, weeklong sleep-away camp designed specifically for rising 8th-12th grade LGBTQ+ youth leaders. This is a chance to build lasting friendships, and learn together. Youth Leaders collaborate during the summer to develop the workshops and social events facilitated at Camp.

A collaboration between PHIMC and Youth Services of Glenview, this year’s camp will take place from Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7, with counselors arriving on Sunday, August 2. Applications for campers and camp counselors are open until 9:00 pm CST on Thursday, April 30.

To make Action Camp a reality we also need your support! Please join us for our third annual Action Camp Fundraiser: Off the Grid.

We’re excited to invite you to our third annual fundraiser, Action Camp: Off the Grid, on Saturday, May 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Sidetrack in Chicago! We'll come together, celebrate, and show support for LGBTQ+ young people. It will be a fun afternoon full of talent, camaraderie, laughter, and delicious camp snacks and we can’t wait to see you there!



Please note: This is a 21+ event. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased here.

Can't join us but still want to support? Consider making a donation or spreading the word to your family and friends! This is the only Action Camp-specific fundraiser we do all year, and, as you know, Action Camp is made available to all young people regardless of the ability to pay, so donations and tickets go directly to funding our Action Camp experience.
