From Your Administrative Team
Greetings Connect K8 Families,

For the second week of Black History month, we want to share THIS interactive map of the City of Los Angeles that showcases landmarks around our community that are influenced, created or impacted by African Americans! This is such a cool way to explore our city and the amazing impact of the Black Community!

We also want to celebrate National Counselor's week by appreciating our counselor, Nydia! While new to us this year, she has already made a HUGE impact on our community, including the addition of Nydia's Counseling corner, which is linked at the bottom of our weekly newsletter! Please join us in sending our gratitude to Nydia and all counselors in our community!

We hope you enjoy the sunny weather this weekend!

Take Good Care,
Kaitlin and Tami

If you are using the carpool lane during drop off, please remember to stay in your car and came the lane moving at a fluid pace!

At the end of the day, if you would like your Core 5 student to exit independently through the front gate, you must complete an "Independent Walker" form in SchoolMint. You can email connect@davincischools.org. Students without this permission will not be permitted to exit through the front gate and will need to be handed off to a guardian at the back field.
