How many times do you place fixtures on a plan or an RCP solely because of what it looks like on a ceiling? Does it ever seem like there is more effort in trying to get fixtures to line up with doors, windows and sprinkler heads rather than thinking about whether or not the lighting will be effective? There has to be logic, science and geometry behind every fixture location. If it doesn't work, ,then it should be moved to where it does, or removed all together. By using logic and geometry, it will be easier to substantiate and defend your design. This will be more of a working/live session that is not a typical powerpoint-oriented presentation.
