Outdoor Family Service

Sunday, May 25 at 10:00AM

Outdoor Service Venue

On Sunday, May 25, we will join together in worship for one service at 10:00 AM in our Outdoor Service Venue. The Outdoor Service is on the Grove City Alliance Church campus at the opposite end of the parking lot. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and sunscreen. There are seats under the sun sails, in the shade, or in the sun – pick your pleasure as you arrive. We will have live worship, preaching, and kids activities during the service. Nursery is available for kids from birth to age 2 in the church building. Following our service, we will have a free Petting Zoo and Amish Donuts will be for sale to benefit our HS students preparing for the LIFE Conference in July.

The service will be Livestreamed at 10:00 AM. If inclement weather is in the forecast, we will move our services indoors at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Announcements for this scenario will be shared on our website and social media platforms. You may also opt-in for text alerts by texting gcalliance to 724-200-3070.

We have the privilege of hosting and hearing from Rev. Dr. Jura Yanagihara, president of the Alliance World Fellowship (AWF). He has previously served in many Alliance churches, including serving as the national church president of the Brazilian C&MA.

The Alliance World Fellowship is the family of national Christian & Missionary Alliance churches from around the world. It was formed in a meeting of national Alliance leaders in 1975. The organization facilitates the cooperation of over 24,000 churches, 1,700 missionaries from many nations and 90 theological institutions as they work to fulfill the Great Commission around the world.

This is a special opportunity to learn about the work being done by our worldwide Alliance family. Everyone is invited to attend! Come out on Saturday night and for one of our Sunday morning services to hear all that Rev. Dr. Yanagihara has to share with us. Be encouraged.

Elementary aged kids (K-5th grade):

will jump in the deep end-worshipping together, growing in their relationship with God together, building community together...and having a SPLASHY good time doing it! (No swimsuits required)

Preschool/Nursery:

will continue to flow during the 9:00 & 10:30 services

Featuring Heroes of the Bible -three mornings of pint-size fun, Bible stories, worship and games made just for our preschoolers. This year our Bible Hero is JONAH! Your preschooler won't want to miss it!

Splash Into Summer

June 23-27

6:00 pm - 8:30PM

For elementary kids grades K-5

Five action-packed evenings filled with fun, surprises, and powerful truths from God's Word. It's going to be AMAZING for elementary kids! This FREE week is planned to be full of FUN as kids dive DEEP into their relationship with Jesus!

Summer Oasis Sunday Mornings begins Sunday, June 1 at 10:30AM.

Gather with the entire Oasis family for some video games, foosball, air hockey, or to just relax. Prepare to meet with Jesus through worship and Bible study geared to hit the season of life you’re traversing.

Rooted is a small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. You will examine foundational principles from the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life. There will be time to connect deeply with others in the group as you listen and share.

This experience also serves as preparation for adult baptism. Participants may choose to be baptized at the outdoor service on Sunday, August 17.

Paul Krahe, Paul Goodman, & Myra Balok will be facilitating this group, which launches on Sunday, June 1, 10:30 AM in the Lavazza classroom at Grove City Alliance Church.

The Rooted book costs $20.00 and can be purchased and picked up on the first day of the class. Childcare is provided.

Worship Team Participants

We're looking for volunteers who are interested in joining our worship team! Our task is to lead people to His throne in worship every week. Together we read Scripture, pray, and make joyful music unto the Lord.

We are looking for more people to join the Grounds Team for this summer. There is mowing and other grounds related work on our campus that you could beautify. Pastor Goodman would love to talk to you further about what that might look like as you jump aboard a team of treasured church caretakers.

Everyone struggles with a hurt, a hang-up, or a habit in some shape or form. In Mark 2:17, we see a beautiful reminder from Jesus:

"On hearing this, Jesus said to them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.' "

Our goal in Celebrate Recovery is to stop unhealthy behaviors that are destroying ourselves and others around us and help us live the purposeful life Christ died for us to live.
