Announcing 4x4 Dinners – Starting this Fall!

This fall, we're launching 4x4 Dinners: small gatherings that build connection. Four tenured members will host four newer members for an evening of conversation. Keep it simple — just a meal in someone's home. The focus is getting to know each other. Dates: October 9, 10, 11 OR November 6, 7, 8.

Come this Sunday to hear more about the launch of this exciting project and sign up at the Social Hall table after the service.

Sunday's Special Collection: American Near East Refugee Aid (Anera)

The situation in Gaza remains catastrophic. Despite a ceasefire agreement, conditions are dire due to continuing sporadic war activity, severe aid restrictions, systemic infrastructure destruction, massive population displacement. Anera, a U.S. nonprofit founded in 1968, continues responding to the humanitarian crisis by working with trusted partners and donors to deliver critically needed food, water and health care. This life-saving aid includes meals, tents, blankets, water, medicine, healthcare, and psychosocial activities for children.

In addition to the collection basket on Sunday, you can donate in three other ways:

• Online: http://bit.ly/give-to-wbuuc - indicate GAZA

• Send a check to WBUUC with GAZA on the memo line.

• Text to Give by text to 651-615-5551 the “amount GAZA" (ex, to give $20, text: 20 GAZA)

If you’re interested in exploring how the first half of your life can lend to a deeper spirituality in the second half of your life, contact Rev. Jessica.
