April 24, 2025

On the eve of Easter, parishioners from both parishes gathered at Assumption Church to celebrate the Easter Vigil. Starting with the lighting of the fire, we blessed the Paschal Candle, sang the Exultet, listened to the scripture, rang bells at the Gloria and Alleluia, witnessed Christian initiation, and celebrated the Eucharist. What a glorious night to celebrate the Risen Christ! Thank you to all the folks who assisted in preparing the church, ministering at the altar, singing in the choir, and making everyone feel welcome. Happy Easter!

📰 News

Death of Pope Francis

As we continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis, you will find an image of him beside a lit candle in the back of both churches for Masses this weekend as well as a Book of Remembrance. All are invited to share their memories of the late Holy Father as well as your prayers for him, the Church, and the world.
