The O'Reilly Minute

Dear Parents,

Curriculum Nights are Tonight and Tomorrow!

We are excited to welcome you to our Curriculum Nights, where parents and teachers can connect and build strong relationships that enhance the partnership between home and school. Our Catholic school community is known for its deep sense of connection and commitment to fostering meaningful relationships among students, teachers, and parents.

This commitment goes beyond education as a means of imparting knowledge; it is about forming the whole person and nurturing a sense of community and belonging. Our faculty and staff are eager to share with you the many opportunities available during these evenings to work together as a team, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment for our students.

We look forward to seeing you there!

I would also like to highlight another opportunity to gather together as a school and parish community.  The SBAA invites you to join them for the 2nd annual St. Brigid homecoming event at Brigid's Green this Sunday. This is a great community gathering event and is free and open to all -- please see more details in the article below.

September blessings,

Kathy O’Reilly

That Man Is You - All Things New

Christ didn’t say, “I make new things.” He said, “I make all things new.” The profundity of the Scriptures sets the stage for a renewal of mind and heart – a new creation story, a new Adam, a new Eve, a new covenant, and even a new kingdom! Encounter God the Father. Enlighten your mind with spiritual truths that will help transform the world. Become a new creation in Christ and allow mercy to consume your miseries.

St. Charles Hosting An Evening With His Eminence, Cardinal Timothy Dolan

In 1923, St. Charles Preparatory School was founded on the promise that an exceptional education be provided to every young man who was willing to accept the challenge of studying there, regardless of his background or means. As St. Charles continues to meet that founding promise, we invite you to join us on October 10th for our annual event, An Evening With…His Eminence, Cardinal Timothy Dolan. Join us for a conversation with Cardinal Dolan as he shares the importance of Jesus and the Church in our day-to-day lives. Visit www.stcharlesprep.org/giving/an-evening-with to reserve your table as together we work to ensure that all young men receive the gift of a Catholic education. For more information, please contact St. Charles Advancement Director Jaime Lawler at jlawler@scprep.org or at (380) 209-2231.
