Animal & Me Show
The Alpha Group had 16 participants in the Delaware County Fair Annual Animal & Me Show!
(13 participants from our Westerville program, two participants from our Dublin program and one from Delaware.)
Participants showed chickens, sheep, dogs, ponies, and other animals in front of a judge. All individuals presented excellently to the judge and received high marks and blue ribbons. 4-H members helped at this event by teaching participants about their project animals.
The event was a fun experience to provide connection within the community at the Delaware County Fair!

Project SEARCH
Alpha has five Project SEARCH sites that are off to a great start for the 2026–2027 school year!
Project SEARCH is a school-to-work transition program designed to help young adults with disabilities develop the skills, experience, and confidence to obtain and maintain competitive, integrated employment. The program typically takes place during a student’s final year of high school and is based within a business or community setting, allowing interns to learn through hands-on experience rather than primarily in a classroom.
Throughout the program year, students participate in multiple internship rotations across different departments, gaining valuable work experience while developing essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and independence. Skills Trainers provide individualized support to help interns learn job tasks, build confidence, and increase their independence in the workplace.
Across all five programs, Alpha currently has 46 interns and 13 dedicated Skills Trainers supporting their success.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!
At The Alpha Group, we believe talent deserves the opportunity to be seen, supported, and encouraged. We are celebrating the value that people with disabilities bring to workplaces every day; from the skills they share to the dedication, perspective, and impact they bring to their teams.
Visit us on social media each Workforce Wednesday in October for NDEAM as we honor the workplaces and people who demonstrate what’s possible when everyone is given an opportunity to share their talents with the world.
