Academic Resources. The academic year is flying by, and midterms will be here soon. Students looking for one-on-one peer tutoring, hands-on writing resources, and more, can visit the Academic Support Center. Staffed by about 40 tutors, Assumption boasts one of the best academic resource centers in the region and accommodates around 5,000 total visits each year.

Assumption Soaring in U.S. News and World Report’s Best University Rankings. For over five years in a row, Assumption has been named on Best Universities list, and this year, we vaulted 21 spots. We also rose 8 spots in the Best Value list and earned No. 19 in the inaugural Top Private Schools ranking. Read more about it here.

Is your student looking for ways to connect with alumni and expand their network? The Alumni Career Networking Night will take place on Wednesday, November 4, at 6 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to grow their network and learn about how alumni have found success at Assumption and beyond. Registration for the event is required.

Remembering Deceased Loved Ones. During the month of November, beginning with All Saints Day on November 1 and All Souls Day on November 2, an Altar of Remembrance will be set in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit for a special remembrance of those who have gone before us. The Paschal Candle will be placed by the Altar of Remembrance, reminding us of the Christian hope in eternal life and the resurrection of the dead. Click here to add a name to the list.

Fall Break Reminder. There will be no classes held on Monday, October 12, and Tuesday, October 13. We hope students take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved break.
