Below are details about your group’s upcoming blood donation:
Joining your team is EASY and can be done through an online donor account on blood.ca. Simply sign up by clicking on your team link: https://myaccount.blood.ca/en/join-team/OPTI0119550
To join from the GiveBlood app, here are the steps to get started:
- Tap on the little red “Partners” icon in the bottom right corner on the app, or on the landing page of your online account.
- Predictive text will allow you to start typing Optimist International
- Join the team and say “yes” when it asks whether your information can be shared with the team champion.
- Book your appointment with your team under “Team Appointments” directly in the team portal.
Taxis to pick group up at Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls,
5685 Falls Avenue starting at 12 (noon) and will take 4 people at a time.
Your group appointments are managed through the donor portal and any unfilled appointments will be released back to the public 5 days before your scheduled donation date.
Please ensure that your donors have government issued hard copy I.D. (digital I.D is not accepted) or their donor card with them.
