Inspiring Meetings in Cebu CB Global Annual Meeting | |
CB Global representatives met in Cebu, Philippines, this October with over 60 attendees coming from 9 countries. What an exciting time to hear stories of what God is doing around the world!
Pakistan: We heard about churches being burned and destroyed, yet the pastors remain faithful and continue preaching the gospel. In Pakistan, people are hearing the Good News, putting their faith in Jesus Christ, and eagerly wanting to be baptized. In one instance, new believers were so excited to publicly declare their faith that they were baptized right away in a nearby irrigation pond. What a powerful testimony of faith and commitment to Christ in the face of adversity!
Japan: We heard about a church in Japan that discovered its building plans and architectural designs did not comply with city permit requirements. By the time they learned this, their old church had already been halfway demolished, and they were facing a $70,000 loss. Rather than sue, they chose to forgive, protect their witness in the community, and start all over again. Their response amazed the community, especially their willingness to forgive. Through this difficult experience, the church has grown, their testimony has been strengthened, and God has been glorified. India: Despite facing persecution, they continue faithfully sharing the gospel with children. Parents come to watch the closing programs, and often their curiosity leads them to ask questions. Before long, a Bible study begins, people come to faith in Christ, and a new church is born. What a beautiful picture of how God uses faithful witnesses to open hearts and transform lives!
We were all encouraged by other stories from Taiwan, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Guam, Canada, and Hong Kong. God is working there, here, and everywhere. "And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day." 2 Corinthians 4:15-16.
Hang in there!

Exciting Launch Sunday in Paramount
Church Plant in SoCal, Rhythm Church
| |
PCN's Rhythm Church launched last month, and it was absolutely amazing! They had a packed room and kept having to pull out more chairs to accommodate everyone who came. Worship was incredible, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and expectation. Throughout the service, they had raffles, both during and after, but the greatest highlight was seeing people give their lives to Jesus Christ! The celebrated salvations, and that alone made the entire day worth it. After the service, they continued the celebration with a photo booth, a carousel for the kids, and plenty of food! They served 350 pounds of BBQ chicken along with side dishes. It was such a beautiful time of fellowship and community.
Pastor Raymond Rajos said, "We are incredibly grateful for everything God has done to bring us to this point. Launch Sunday was more than just an event. It was the beginning of a new chapter, and we are excited and expectant for all that God is going to do through Rhythm Los Angeles." Thank you for supporting Pacific Church Network and our church planting efforts.
| Ministry in Argentina CB Global | Take a moment to meet our CB Global partners in Argentina, Pastor Marcelo Centineo and his wife, Guadalupe. We are grateful for the faithful work God is doing through these churches and ministry leaders as they share the love of Christ and impact their communities with the Gospel. Through CB Global, we are connected by a shared mission and a passion for strengthening churches and reaching people for Jesus. We are thankful to be serving alongside them! | |

Pray for Pastor Timothy
Myanmar
| |
Pastor Timothy could not attend our annual meeting in the Philippines because, unexpectedly, on September 2, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Pan Hlaing International Hospital due to sepsis. It was a very difficult and frightening experience, but he praises the Lord for His mercy and grace. God rescued him from what felt like a deep pit and graciously spared his life. After ten days in the hospital, Pastor Timothy was discharged and continued his recovery at home.
His recovery has been slower than expected, and he has experienced considerable weakness. For six consecutive Sundays, he was unable to attend church. However, he thanks God that he can now attend church again and preach the Word of God. Through this experience, he has come to appreciate even more deeply how precious good health is and how much we should thank the Lord for each day He gives us.
Meanwhile, despite the ongoing civil war and severe difficulties in many rural areas and towns, their missionaries have continued to serve the Lord faithfully. Some of them have conducted evangelistic home crusades and gospel campaigns, bringing the message of salvation to people in challenging circumstances. During September and October, their team shared the Gospel with 417 unsaved people. Praise the Lord that 105 professed faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, and 37 were baptized. We give all glory to God for these precious souls!
