Sea Pines CSA Board of Director Election Information |
|
- This year, Sea Pines CSA has selected Vote-Now.com LLC, as our 3rd Party Independent Elections Administrator. Unique voting codes will be assigned by Vote-Now.com LLC and members will have the opportunity to cast their votes either online or by completing a mailed ballot. Only one form of voting will be counted.
- Each residential property in good standing with CSA as of October 1st, 2021, (date of record), will receive a CSA Ballot (one for each property owned in Sea Pines).
- Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Residential Director Election voting period will be open from 12:00 AM November 1, 2021- 11:59 PM on December 1, 2021. Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST on December 1, 2021, to be counted.
- VOTE ONLINE: Your voting invitation email and electronic ballot will be sent at 10:00 AM on November 1, 2021, to the primary email on file with Sea Pines CSA from the email address elections@vote-now.com.
- VOTE BY MAIL: Sea Pines CSA Class “A” Residential ballots will be mailed out on November 1, 2021. Ballots will be mailed to the primary notice of mailing on file with Sea Pines CSA. Please allow 3-5 days for mailed ballot delivery via the USPS.

North Sea Pines Drive Phase 2: Major Roadway Reconstruction In Progress
Major stormwater drain pipe excavation and replacements are in progress in the areas along and across the roadway of North Sea Pines Drive between Red Cardinal Road to Spotted Sandpiper Road and the adjacent leisure trail.
HEAVY TRAFFIC EXPECTED/ UTILIZE GREENWOOD DRIVE GATE:
- Heavy traffic delays should be expected on North Sea Pines Drive as crews will utilize single-lane closures along this roadway to accommodate the work in and along the roadway.
- Owners, guests, and visitors are asked to plan accordingly and avoid the project area when possible by using the main gate located on Greenwood Drive. Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to seek alternate routes that avoid the project area. Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, and devices.
TEMPORARY FULL LANE CLOSURES IN PROJECT ZONE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 1st:
- Short timed/temporary road closures in both directions along North Sea Pines Drive between Red Cardinal Road to Spotted Sandpiper Road will continue through next week as the main stormwater drainage pipes that cross this major roadway are removed and replaced.
ADDITIONAL PROJECT REMINDERS:

The leisure trail along North Sea Pines Drive from The Sea Pines Beach Club to Lawton Drive is closed to bike and pedestrian traffic. Please refer to the Leisure Trail detour map here for more information.
- Additional erosion control & tree protection will be installed next week from Spotted Sandpiper to Ocean Gate.
- The Beachwalks located at #39 & #40 are not currently accessible from North Sea Pines Drive due to this project.

Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Projects Around the Community |

Roadside mulching
Roadside mulching began this week on Greenwood Drive (by lot 8) and will continue into next week, weather permitting. Flagmen will be present as needed to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should use caution in these designated work zones.

Stormwater Ditch Cleaning
Crews will conduct ditch cleanout the week of November 1st, weather permitting in the Heritage Woods Neighborhood in proximity to following areas:
#60, 61, 62 & 64 Heritage Road
# 1 & 3 Harleston Green
# 24 & 26 Old Military Road

Leisure Trail Tree Trimming
Leisure trail tree trimming continues in the Heritage Woods area. Leisure trails will remain open and we ask that pedestrians and bikers proceed with caution. Flagmen will be present, as needed.

Catch Basin Cleaning
Crews will conduct catch basin cleanout the week of November 1st, weather permitting along South Sea Pines Drive from Bald Eagle Road to the entrance of Land's End. Flagmen will be present, as needed.

Emergency Beachwalk Stormwater Repairs Underway at BW#43A |
|
Emergency Stormwater repairs are necessary at Beachwalks #43A & #47 due to sinkholes at each of these locations.
Work is underway at Beachwalk #43A and will continue into early next week, weather permitting. Repair work on Beachwalk #47 is expected to begin next week. The beachwalks will be open during the project, but we ask that pedestrians use caution.

Reminder: Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office Seasonal Hours To Began Monday, October 25th
Effective Monday, October 25, 2021, through early Spring 2022, the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office, located at 32 Greenwood Drive will implement the below seasonal hours:
- Sunday – Thursday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
If a guest of a property owner arrives at Sea Pines outside of the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office operating hours listed above, he/she is asked to drive directly to the security gate and speak with the gate attendant on duty. If the appropriate pass has been called in for the visitor, the gate attendant will have the guest’s name on their list and the guest will be allowed to enter Sea Pines. At that time the guest will be instructed to return to the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office the following day to pick up their pass. - “Bright exterior lighting may not be left on for extended periods, and/or after 10 pm. In no case shall they shine into a neighbors residence or Property”

Tickets on Sale Now For the 10th Annual Sea Pines Forest Preserve Bonfire
When: Friday, November 12th from 4:30-7:30 pm
Where: Fish Island in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve
Support the Sea Pines Forest Preserve by attending their fall fundraising Bonfire event! Enjoy an evening of live music & celebrating the outdoors paired with a delicious Lowcountry-inspired menu crafted by The Salty Dog Cafe.
Tickets are $75 per person or reserve a table for eight (8) for $750
The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is a 501-(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and all proceeds from this event will benefit the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.

The Artists of Sea Pines Reception at the Sea Pines CSA Community Center

Thursday, November 4 from 5:00-7:00 pm
The Artists of Sea Pines will host a reception at the Sea Pines Community Center exhibiting their latest works. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
The event will honor the Turtle Trackers donating 10% of sales along with a short presentation at 6 pm. Refreshments will be served and masks are required. For information call Rosemary Kimball at 843-422-3223.

Town of Hilton Head Island Continues Drainage Work & Control Structure Improvements Near the Hilton Head Prep Control Structure
The Town of Hilton Head Island has begun ditch cleaning in the channel between Hilton Head Prep & the South Island Public Service District Treatment Plant, near the Hilton Head Prep Control Structure.
This area is considered an active work zone and should be avoided as large machinery will be utilized during the project.
