E110 COVID & Air Quality Monitoring & Management

What size particle is important to transmission of SARS-CoV2? This course will examine the outcomes of the debate on whether the transmission of SARS-CoV2 is primarily spread through large respiratory droplets that can stay in the air for only several minutes before landing on a surface where they can persist for hours to days or the virus is transmitted through aerosol droplets which can persist much longer and travel farther like second-hand smoke in indoor air that we all share. CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Beginning on January 1, 2023, Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) requires that all Ontario Professional Engineer Licence Holders undertake and report on their individual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) plan and activities. Ontario Professional Engineers are free to select and undertake any Resilient World Institute course that they believe supports their professional engineering practice by maintaining and enhancing their Professional Engineering competence. CPD activities must be directly related to the Professional Engineer’s area(s) of professional practice. This training must also incorporate technical or regulatory knowledge about acts of Professional Engineering. CPD activities can involve in-person courses, webinar courses, hybrid courses, self-study and exam writing. Our various courses incorporate many of these teaching formats. We welcome enquiries from prospective student who want to explore how the Resilient World Institute can help them to achieve their professional CPD training goals.
