JFS Orlando offers Centerpieces for Tzedakah. Whether you're planning a Bar/Bat Mitzvah or any special event, our bimah trunks and table centerpieces would make perfect additions.
Tzedakah means "justice, fairness, righteousness; the obligation to do what is right and just."
Not only will our centerpieces decorate your special occasion and be environmentally friendly compared to traditional flower arrangements, but they will represent your act of tzedakah and its impact on our community.

The Power of Giving: Chaplaincy Program
"A chaplain--a rabbi, in this case--is an outlet to give expression to any concern, any question, any fear. They may be wondering, 'Why is this happening to me?' And I hope to give them some insight from our Jewish traditions."
–Rabbi E. Arnold (Arny) Siegel, JFS Community Rabbi
JFS Orlando's Rabbi Arny provides a much needed Chaplaincy program to the unaffiliated Jewish community. This pastoral outreach service provides end of life services, burial or memorial services, and other visits, such as hospice, hospital or home visits. Rabbi Arny provides a listening presence and a voice of hope and healing.
This program operates in partnership with the Greater Orlando Board of Rabbis and the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando.
In 2020, our Community Rabbi served more than 660 individuals through chaplaincy services.
Help the JFS Chaplaincy program continue its spiritual support of the community!

Joanie Mayer and Mona Bachove
“For us, working at the Pantry is performing a mitzvah. It is a way to reach out to the community and be a very small part of providing assistance for those who are in crisis and struggling to put food on the table.” Joanie and Mona volunteer together in JFS Orlando’s Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry once a month. Two friends with the most generous and determined hearts, they each came to know JFS through differing experiences.

5 Tips for Your 2021 Goals
By Ashlyn Douglass-Barnes, LCSW, JFS Clinical Director
New Year, New You, right? If there is something 2020 taught us all, it is that we are resilient. Have to switch overnight from in-person to virtual school, work, place of worship, meals, meets up, and holidays? No problem, we handled it. No vacations, traveling, or social meetups? No problem, we adapted. But throughout all of that, we likely didn’t realize the emotional and physical exhaustion that came with it.
