ORANGEBURG, S.C. -- South Carolina State University on Tuesday demolished a minimally used section of Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. The bleachers behind the endzone closest to Staley Field were removed to make way for a proposed health and wellness facility that would serve student-athletes as well as the general student body.
