The Village of Ossining proudly presents its new webinar series: Transformational Thursdays. This series will be an opportunity for those that live, work, and play here to participate in community engagement surrounding projects funded under the 2021 New York State Revitalization Initiative (DRI) award of $10 Million (Click here for the Press Release: Ossining Mid-Hudson Winner of 5th-Round DRI).
We have designed this series for the community to learn about what is ahead for the Village, separated into subjects that build upon each other. There are eight topics of discussion that will include specific information regarding the innovative plans for the community’s future, with opportunities for the public to share their thoughts as a way to add dimension to the project concepts. The Village Board of Trustees and Village staff will lead these discussions.
We look forward to being a resource and guide to what residents and visitors can expect as these projects take shape. Recordings will be made available on the Village’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend these virtual sessions in real time. The Village will develop a “Frequently Asked Questions” page that can be translated into 100+ languages on the Village’s website.
It is important to the Village Board of Trustees to maintain and evolve its relationship with the Ossining community. While presenting our webinar series, we can connect the dots between our volunteers, staff, non-profit organizations, local businesses, and those that live here while ensuring that folks can ask questions and get answers.
