We rejoice that as the number of Covid-19 cases comes down and the number of people being vaccinated goes up, we may be turning a corner. After 9 months, the Alabama state-wide mask mandate will expire today. Several have asked what this means for the church. Though we have over the last months strongly encouraged masks, we have not enforced mask-wearing. At this point, we encourage you to make your own decision based on what is best for you and your family, while still being respectful and loving to those who may make different decisions. Personally, when I decide to stop wearing a mask, I still intend to keep one with me to wear around others who choose to wear them. We will still be social-distancing and sanitizing before each gathering.
I appreciate your spirit of cooperation and brotherly love throughout this last year. I am convinced that God is using this time to make us better. I can’t wait to worship with you Sunday and share how God is beginning to answer our prayers of Refocus.
