Good morning, Saint Mark!
This Sunday is the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost. This time "after Pentecost" marks the beginning of the liturgical season known as "ordinary time." This time carries important themes such as: Inclusivity and unity, spiritual growth, and the transition from celebration to discipleship.
It's also the Sunday that we focus on what it means to be gentle. This sermon is the next installment of our Fruit of the Spirit series.

Pride Habitat Double Dedication Ceremony
This Saturday, June 21, is the double dedication ceremony for the Atlanta Habitat Pride Build! You are all invited to be a part of it.!
We will begin the dedication with a performance from the Color Guard at 11:15am, and then the ceremony will begin at 11:30am. The ceremony will last about 30 minutes.
Join as we watch Jasmine and Jasmine cut the ribbons to their homes this Saturday!

Juniper Street: Complete Street Project
As you may have heard, paving is planned to start on the Juniper Street Complete Street Project this week. There will be lane closures and detours during this period, but we are excited that this mile long project will be wrapping up by the end of the Summer this year.
You can view details about the project at MidtownATL.com/Juniper. This web page is the central information hub for updates about the project’s status, answers to frequently asked questions, and more.
SD&C Inc. has been contracted by Midtown Alliance to perform streetscape improvements on Juniper Street NE, from 14th Street NE to Ponce de Leon Ave NE. This project is nearing completion and is in the final stages of construction work.
Paving work will likely commence this week, and the project is slated to be completed by late summer 2025
Approved construction work hours are from 9am to 4pm. However, please be advised that construction dates and times could vary based on weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
Expect periodic lane closures, possible short-term detours, and intermittent flagging operations throughout the duration of this work.
Thanks for staying up to date as this project approaches the final stage.

Meet the Maestros Mixer
Meet Maestro Michael Palmer and GFM Associate Conductor Logan Souther to learn about the Georgia Festival of Music performance on June 18th.
Musicians from the Atlanta Symphony, Atlanta Opera, and Atlanta Ballet orchestras will perform here at Saint Mark on June 28.

Summer of Love cabaret
Seasons of Love veterans, Pam Russo Delancey & David White, share their favorite love songs in a delightful cabaret setting. Complimentary coffee, beverages, and desserts will be provided.
$35 tickets for adults and $30 tickets for seniors, students, and military.
Proceeds will benefit Midtown Assistance Center.

Georgia Festival of Music: MainStage Orchestra Performance & Emerging Maestros Conducting Competition
Join us for the final performance of the Georgia Festival of Music 2025 Season! The MainStage performance will be on June 28 at 7:30 and will feature top orchestral musicians, including performers from The Atlanta Symphony & Atlanta Opera Orchestras. Six talented conductors from around the country come to Atlanta to study with Maestro Michael Palmer and compete at the Emerging Maestros competition during the MainStage performance.

Chorister Camp
Does your child or youth love to sing? If the answer is yes, they're invited to spend a week filled with music and fun at the Saint Mark Chorister Camp!
Attendees will engage with joyful sacred songs, creative musical games, and the camp will culminate with a showcase performance on July 20, at our Evening Praise and Prayer Service.
The camp will be led by our Fine Arts Director, Nick Joslin, and supported by our Children's Minister, Madi Dunn.
Pre-care and after -care will be available.
