MPPC (SiPM) for LiDAR
S15639-1325PS

This new MPPC (SiPM) designed for TOF-LiDAR applications features enhanced sensitivity at 905 nm and high internal gain to keep output signals above the noise floor of the system’s electronics. In addition, it has a fast time response, low power consumption, and durability under a wide range of operating temperatures.
Under development
THz QCL module

Hamamatsu has developed a quantum cascade laser (QCL) module with a tunable frequency range from 0.42 to 2 terahertz (THz). This THz QCL module has potential applications in polymer material identification, nondestructive inspection using THz waves, and future ultra-high-speed wireless communication.
Under development
THz image intensifier

Hamamatsu has developed a terahertz (THz) image intensifier (I.I.), featuring high resolution and fast response. Capable of real-time imaging of THz wave pulses transmitted through or reflected from target objects, this THz I.I. can be useful in nondestructive testing, food inspection, and body scanning.
