Youth Commission Recruiting for 23/24 School Year

The City is seeking local youth interested in serving one- to two-year terms on the Youth Commission. Applications are due online by Monday, May 8. Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, starting at 4:30 PM in the Council Chambers.

Agenda Available for Upcoming Hybrid City Council Meeting

Listed in the agenda are all the items to be discussed during the Tuesday,

April 25 meeting. City Council will discuss the status of the adopted Sixth Cycle Housing Element 2023-2031 update. Prior to the meeting, there will be a study session on identifying a permanent solution for the Halsey House at 5:30 PM.

City of Los Altos to Host Inaugural Electric Vehicle Showcase

Join "Destination Electric”—a Los Altos electric vehicle showcase—on Saturday, June 3, from 10 AM–⁠2 PM at the Los Altos Community Center parking lot. The showcase will include a display of over a dozen electric vehicles and informational booths on EV charging, financial incentives and rebates, and more.

Parks & Rec Commission Hosts Interactive Art Event

The Parks and Recreation Commission is hosting a family-friendly pop-up event to decorate a tattoo sleeve on Saturday, May 6, from 10 AM-1 PM at the Los Altos Community Center. This event is limited to the first 50 children (ages 7+) and 50 adults. All children must have a parent or guardian with them.
